Few people will know that their hotel is for sale.<\/p>\n
Off-market sales are sometimes used by people who prefer their business associates, creditors, ex-partners or neighbors and others not to know that their hotel is for sale.<\/p>\n
Celebrities, high profile figures, and high net worth individuals (HNWIs) sometimes sell off-market for reasons of confidentiality.<\/p>\n
Selling off-market means that sellers do not have to deal with potentially large numbers of buyers, a large number of viewings and negotiations with many buyers.<\/p>\n
Some off-market sellers do this to avoid broker fees or because they don’t want to do business with brokers.<\/p>\n
Selling off-market prevents a seller’s asking price from being placed in the public domain, which can be an advantage for some sellers.<\/p>\n
When a hotel is listed on portals, the asking price is available to everyone and can be recorded for future reference.<\/p>\n
In an off-market sale, the sale price will not be publicly available until the sale is completed and registered with Land Registry.<\/p>\n

In some cases, a seller may know that a particular buyer is very interested in purchasing their property.<\/p>\n
So they don’t think it’s necessary to offer it to the market.<\/p>\n
This can happen if their property is unusual or unique.<\/p>\n
